In recent years, the industrial production of magnesium alloys has increased by about 20% per year. Magnesium alloys are low density and excellent specific strength and high recycling ability. It may be the most preferred green material in the manufacturing industry. Research and development of the welding process for joining magnesium alloy sheets is of great importance for wide industrial application. Due to the wide application of magnesium alloys in metal fabrication, it is very important to use a reliable method to combine these reactive metals together and into other alloys. Increased interest in the use of magnesium alloys in the manufacturing industry, which requires more attention to alternative welding methods. This presentation aims and review recent developments and advances in welding techniques for Magnesium alloys.
